Educated at the Canterbury College of Art and Architecture where he co-edited a book on Kent Weldan houses. Completing his Master Degree at Queens University School of Architecture in Belfast, he won a student competition for the design of a Hotel in a sensitive heritage district in Dublin in his final year.

 

After several years of working as a Project Architect in both Bermuda and Belfast where his last project won a Civic Architectural award, Kevin moved to France in 1989, taught in the College of Beaux Arts in Annecy and became a director of an international UK based Project Management Company prior to founding Team Design in 1996. The main objective of forming this practice is to enhance private demand for architectural quality through designs for contemporary lifestyles. Kevin was quickly asked to undertake consultancy work with the CAUE (Conseil d’Architecture, Urbanisme &Environement) as Consultant Architect advising Mayors of several towns and villages around the Haute Savoie on planning issues and continues to work to this day on town and rural planning studies for the public administrations.​

Marie-Helene Crawley

Co-Founder of Team Design, Marie-Helene runs the administrative side of the office. Qualified teacher with work experiences in schools in France, the Business College in Belfast, and Bermuda, her teaching vocation was put to one side in 1996 with the creation of Team Design as a joint venture with her husband Kevin.

 

Mother of two and bilingual, her passions (other than architecture & design) include singing dance and theatre. She has been a choir member since her return to France in 1989 and in the last two years has became a passionate member of a local Theatre and Arts group.
